Absolutely no entering the pool without a lifeguard on duty.

Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult (16 years or older) in the water and actively supervised at all times. No child will be left unattended in the water or on deck. An adult must be within arm’s reach of weak or non-swimmers at all times.

Do not enter the pool if you have a communicable disease or an open cut.

Shower before entering the pool and after use of toilet facilities.

Do not run or engage in rough play in the pool area.

Proper swim attire must be worn in the pool and whirlpool. No revealing swimsuits, cutoffs, t-shirts, shorts, or other loose clothing.

Children are required to wear swim diapers under a snug fitting swimsuit if they are not completely toilet trained.

Diaper changing on the pool deck is prohibited.

Water wings and other inflatable devices, face masks or mermaid tails are not permitted in the pools. Goggles may be purchased at the Y Welcome Center desk, if available.

Coast Guard certified life jackets or puddle jumpers are permitted and available for use.

Breath holding techniques or activities are prohibited.

Do not bring food, drink, gum, or tobacco into the pool.

Glass and shatterable items are prohibited in the pool area.

Do not bring animals into the pool area.

All strollers, car seats, and street shoes are to be left in the locker rooms.

Profanity will not be tolerated in the pool area.

Diving is allowed in designated areas only. No backward dives or flips.

Please do not sit or hang on lane lines or life lines, and keep the stair and ramp entry and exit areas clear unless entering or exiting the pool.

Please respect all requests made by the Aquatics staff. Lifeguards have the authority to disallow any activity deemed unsafe.
