Community Goal to raise $10,000
The Fond du Lac Family YMCA is joining Y’s around the nation for YMCA Day of Giving, a one-day fundraising event on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 with a community goal of raising $10,000. This will be the Fond du Lac Family YMCA’s second time participating in the nation-wide fundraising event.
“YMCA Day of Giving is a great way to rally behind the important work being done daily at our Y. Every dollar you donate to the Fond du Lac Family YMCA stays local and helps remove financial barriers to access and inclusion in our programs, membership and activities,” stated J.J. Raflik, CEO/Executive Director, Fond du Lac Family YMCA.
This one-day philanthropic event will kick off the Y’s 2021 Annual Campaign. With an annual campaign goal of $260,000, the donations from YMCA Day of Giving will contribute to reaching that goal.
“Today, the Fond du Lac Family YMCA continues to provide a safe place to gather and participate in healthy activities. The Y provides much-needed programming and services FOR ALL, focusing on the healthy lifestyles of individuals, families and children in the Fond du Lac area, regardless of income, age or ability,” stated Katie McCormick, Director of Mission Advancement, Fond du Lac Family YMCA. “The generosity of others is at the core of the Y’s existence as a nonprofit. It is only through the support of our donors that we are able to continue to support and give back to our community. With your help, TOGETHER we can provide a Y for generations to come.”
