The Fond du Lac Family YMCA is committed to helping strengthen our community by creating opportunities for our members to reach their health, wellness, and fitness goals. We are responding to the needs of our community members by putting plans in place to expand our accessibility to our members.
Making time to exercise is the first step to a healthier, more active lifestyle. We know everyone has a different schedule. Starting November 1, 2023, the Y will be giving you the opportunity to achieve your goals when it is convenient for you.
Open to adult members, ages 19 and older, of the Fond du Lac Family YMCA, 24/7 facility access will allow members the ability to work out on their own schedule. Members may begin applying for access at the Welcome Center desk starting October 1st. To apply for access, members must sign a 24/7 access waiver and agree to abide by our policies, pass a background check, and upgrade for $5 per month per member. The approval process is estimated to take 1-3 business days.
Qualifying members will purchase a key fob for $25 to access the Fond du Lac Family YMCA after facility hours. They will have unlimited access to our Wellness Center (cardio, strength and stretching areas), Family Gym, Studio 4 on-demand classes, and the restrooms in the lobby and Wellness Center, any time, day or night, all year long. All other areas of the facility will be closed, including the locker rooms.
Providing a safe, secure environment for members is essential to the Y’s cause of strengthening the community. The Fond du Lac Family YMCA is protected by advanced security and video surveillance systems. However, these systems will not provide staffing assistance for emergencies that might arise outside of the Y’s regular hours. As such, the YMCA highly recommends that members exercise with another 24/7 member when using the facility outside of staffed hours of operation. First Aid Kits and AED’s will be made available.
